Bective Rangers FC Seek Head Coach

Bective Rangers FC are seeking to appoint a head coach for the 2019/20 season. Founded in 1881, Bective play in Leinster Junior League Division 1A and are one of the oldest rugby clubs in Ireland.

Bective are steeped in history and renowned for the club’s warmth and hospitality. Their grounds are located on the main street in Donnybrook, just a couple of miles from the city centre. The grounds contain two 4G pitches and a newly refurbished high-performance gym with state-of-the art equipment.

Role/Purpose:

Bective are looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious and results-orientated coach who will develop and implement a detailed strategy and game-plan to deliver results. They will be responsible for creating a positive environment with a winning culture and a desire to perform at the highest level.

Qualifications:

IRFU Stage 3 or 4 (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for senior squad performance
  • Recruitment of players into the 1st and 2nd team squads
  • Deliver highly skilled, motivated pitch sessions with clear game-plan and training strategies to maximise player output on match day
  • Mentor and advise assistant coaches, Under-20 coaches and players
  • Create an environment that allows the teams develop their own identity and culture that is in keeping with Bective’s values and ambition
  • Create good relationships with all club coaching staff, medical personnel, S&C teams and Under-20s
  • Conduct regular reviews with coaching teams and director of rugby against agreed KPIs
  • Reporting to the director of rugby
