Tickets Selling Fast For Ireland’s GUINNESS Series Games

Tickets for Ireland’s upcoming GUINNESS Series games against Italy and Wales in the build-up to the Rugby World Cup are selling fast with limited options available in many categories.

Ireland take on Italy on Saturday, August 10 at the Aviva Stadium (kick-off 2pm) before wrapping up preparations a month later with a clash with reigning Guinness Six Nations champions Wales on Saturday, September 7 (kick-off 2pm).

The match against Italy will have an interesting backdrop as it was recently announced that Mike Catt, Italy’s attack coach, will join the Ireland coaching team after the Rugby World Cup. Tries from Keith Earls, Conor Murray, Quinn Roux and Jacob Stockdale helped Ireland to a 26-16 win in Rome in February.

Ireland lost 25-7 to Wales in March as the Principality Stadium played host to a memorable Grand Slam success for Warren Gatland’s side. Tickets for both games are on sale from Ticketmaster with limited availability in some categories – click here to buy online now.

Joe Schmidt’s men will also travel to England (Saturday, August 24) and Wales (Saturday, August 31) in between the two GUINNESS Series games before the final 31-man Rugby World Cup squad is announced.

The extended Ireland squad are currently in Galway as part of their pre-season training and will host an open training session at the Sportsground on Friday – all the free tickets have already been snapped up – before heading to Limerick next week and another open training session at Thomond Park on Friday, July 19.

Earlier this week the squad visited the Galway Hospice and met with staff and patients. This Friday will also mark the official launch of Ireland’s Rugby World Cup jersey.
