“2 Codes, 1 Community” To Bring Fan Experience To Lurgan

Lurgan Rugby Football & Cricket Club are promising an amazing fan experience and a unique event in Ulster’s sporting calendar on Friday August 9th.

“2 Codes, 1 Community” is an open training session featuring the senior men’s squads of both Armagh GAA Football and Ulster Rugby.

The event is billed as the first of its kind in Ulster and while some of the province’s most high profile sportsmen will be on show, there is also plenty of local action to support.

A series of games of two halves will take place between Lurgan Rugby Club and four of the local gaelic football clubs – St. Peter’s GAA, St. Paul’s GAA, Éire Óg and Clan na nGael. The games will feature one half of gaelic football and one half of rugby.

Pollock Park is the venue, with a warm welcome and ample car parking available for this family friendly event. Amenities on the day will include face painting, bouncy castles, barbecue and a live DJ.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by going to the Eventbrite website or by clicking on this link.
