Vodafone Ireland And IRFU Announce Four-Year Sponsorship Extension
Vodafone Ireland and the Irish Rugby Football Union today announced that they have extended their partnership for a further four years through to 2024.
The four-year sponsorship extension will see Vodafone Ireland continue as the principal sponsor of the Irish Rugby team and communications partner to the IRFU. The agreement also sees Vodafone become official sponsor of the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship. The new agreement will commence on July 1, 2020.
The multi-year deal will see Vodafone and the IRFU work together to use both new and existing technology to create events, activations and content that will benefit all rugby fans and Vodafone customers in Ireland.
Vodafone’s investment will continue to allow fans to experience world class network services on match days, and Vodafone customers will also have access to exclusive content and instant match highlights for Ireland’s international home matches on the My Vodafone app.
Speaking at the sponsorship extension announcement, Vodafone Ireland CEO Anne O’Leary said:
