IRFU Recognised As A Healthy Place To Work

The Irish Rugby Football Union are pleased to have achieved recognition as a Healthy Place to Work.

Healthy Place to Work advised the IRFU that we are the first Irish organisation to achieve this standard two years in a row.

The IRFU were awarded the standard based on ‘strong levels of Purpose, underpinned by a sense of Congruence between people, their work and the vision of the organisation continued to stand out. This was reinforced through the work on bringing the IRFU’s Values to life this year in clear and tangible ways.

‘Plasticity and agility were demonstrated through their commitment to a Learning Mindset. Strong Connections are fostered by Peer Support and Social Well-being; with each level of the business having a clear role and remit around driving change and embedding a Healthy Place to Work’.

Aileen Bailey, IRFU Human Resources Director, said: “We are delighted to be recognised as a Healthy Place to Work for the second year in a row.  We recognise that people spend a large part of their day in work, and in line with the IRFU’s values, we want to ensure that our staff enjoy their time while they are in work.

“A healthy work environment is very important to me, the HR team and the Leadership team. It is good for our staff, ultimately good for the business and for Irish Rugby.”
