Larmour Ruled Out Of Guinness Six Nations And Autumn Nations Cup

Jordan Larmour will miss Ireland’s upcoming Guinness Six Nations games and Autumn Nations Cup campaign after suffering a shoulder injury during Leinster’s Guinness PRO14 victory over Benetton Rugby on Saturday evening.

Larmour sustained a dislocated shoulder and will have a procedure this week. There is no timeline on his return yet until after the procedure but he will be unavailable for the Six Nations games against Italy (October 24) and France (October 31), as well as the Autumn Nations Cup.

In an injury update issued on Monday, Leinster also confirmed that Max Deegan suffered an ACL knee injury against the Dragons at the RDS in round 1 and had a procedure last week which went well. Unfortunately, the Ireland international will be unavailable for a number of months.

Ryan Baird was also withdrawn from the game against Benetton with an adductor strain. He will be further assessed this week by the Leinster Rugby medical team.

It was also confirmed that Tadhg Furlong will remain under the supervision of the Leinster Rugby S&C and medical team this week as he recovers from a calf issue. Ronan Kelleher (quad), Andrew Porter (hamstring) and Jonathan Sexton (hamstring) will all be assessed by the IRFU medical team this week.
