Munster Announce Loan Signing Of Ulster Youngster Reid

Munster have secured the services of Ulster Academy prop Callum Reid, who will join Johann van Graan’s men on a six-week loan.

The 21-year-old Reid has been training with the Ulster senior squad since the start of the new season.

James Cronin and Academy youngster Josh Wycherley, who made his senior Munster debut last Monday, are the only two loosehead props currently available for selection.

Dave Kilcoyne, Jeremy Loughman, Liam O’Connor and Academy prop James French are all currently unavailable due to injury.

Reid was a Grand Slam winner with the Ireland Under-20s in 2019, alongside Munster’s Craig Casey, Jake Flannery, Sean French, John Hodnett, Jonathan Wren and Wycherley.
