PRO14 Rugby can confirm that the Munster v Leinster and Glasgow Warriors v Edinburgh round 9 derby matches have been rescheduled and will take place in the coming weeks.
PRO14 Rugby is grateful to each of its stakeholders for their flexibility and cooperation in rearranging these fixtures.
The crunch clash between Munster, the Conference B leaders, and defending champions Leinster was originally scheduled to take place on St. Stephen’s Day, but could not go ahead due to timing issues regarding the results of Covid-19 PCR testing.
However, with the Heineken Champions Cup now temporarily suspended, the way is clear for the provinces to go head-to-head at Thomond Park on Saturday week (January 23), with a 7.35pm kick-off.
