2023 Energia All-Ireland League Men’s Division 1A Final

Terenure College RFC are Energia All-Ireland champions for the first time after a 50-24 over Clontarf in today’s Men’s Division 1A final at Aviva Stadium.

Reigning champions Clontarf opened with tries from Aitzol Arenzana-King and JJ O’Dea but Terenure College took the lead on 34 minutes from Adam La Grue‘s intercept try before Craig Adams pounced on a loose ball in midfield to help them to an 18-10 lead at half time.

Caolan Dooley was imperious from the tee – kicking 11/12 including a couple of key penalties to keep Clontarf at bay in the third quarter.

Alex Soroka‘s try gave hope to the Clontarf faithful but Dooley continued to punish any Clontarf indiscipline and was awarded the Energia AIL Player Of The Match award for his 30 point haul.
