Munster Pencil In November Clash With Argentina XV At Thomond Park

Munster Rugby has confirmed that the province will take on Argentina XV at Thomond Park on Saturday, November 1 (kick-off 5pm). Tickets are available to buy here from Ticketmaster.ie.
Since the redevelopment of Thomond Park in 2008, Munster have hosted international opposition in the form of New Zealand, Australia and the Māori All Blacks at the Limerick venue.
There was also a memorable sold-out clash with the All Blacks XV at Thomond Park this past November, and in recent years there were full houses against South Africa ‘A’ and the Crusaders at Cork’s SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh.
The upcoming clash with Argentina XV will add another exciting chapter to Munster’s rich history against touring teams, having beaten representative sides from New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa over the years.
Munster played their one and only fixture against Argentina back in 1973. That match, which took place at Thomond Park and featured current Munster Branch President Brendan Foley, finished in a 12-all draw with Barry McGann kicking four penalties.
Argentina, who have reached the semi-final stage in two of the last three Rugby World Cup tournaments, will face Wales, Scotland, and England as part of their 2025 Northern Hemisphere tour, with Argentina XV also taking on Bristol Bears.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Munster Rugby CEO Ian Flanagan said: “We will be delighted to welcome Argentina XV to Thomond Park in November as part of their Northern Hemisphere tour.
“Los Pumas are extremely passionate about their rugby as we are in Munster, and I’m sure that passion will make for a brilliant game in November as we host this proud rugby nation for the first time since 1973.”

From 10am, priority groups including Munster Rugby Supports Club, 10-year, 5-year, and club season ticket holders can purchase their current URC season seat through their Munster Rugby Account ahead of the general sale.
MRSC, 10-year, 5-year, and associate members will also receive a pre-sale link to purchase additional tickets.
The general sale will be open on Monday (March 24) from 10am, subject to availability. Please see details below.
