Boss Ruled Out Of Scotland Game
Following a scan on his injured shoulder this morning, Ulster scrum half Isaac Boss has been ruled out of this weekend’s clash with Scotland in the RBS 6 Nations championship.
The scan took place in Belfast and the results confirmed that Boss has injured his AC joint. He will undergo a rehabilitation programme and the injury will be reassessed next week.
The Tokoroa-born player, who came off the bench to score a try against England, picked up the injury playing for Ulster against the Llanelli Scarlets at Stradey Park on Saturday.
Eoin Reddan has already been called into the Irish squad to act as cover.
Boss has played seven times for Ireland, making five appearances as a replacement. His intercept score against England at Croke was his first try in an Irish jersey.
