Temporary Venue Change at Musgrave Park
With the safety of players in mind and as a step in upholding standards required to run a good Tag Rugby playing surface, teams playing Budweiser Tag at Musgrave Park have some unavoidable changes to their season.
With the Tag Rugby players’ safety in mind, emergency resurfacing of the Musgrave Park playing areas will take place this week.
This forces us, as already notified by email to all captains and vice-captains, to temporarily switch venues for the first four weeks of the season and with these four weeks being moved back seven days.
Details are as follows:-
From June 5th until June 26th inclusive, your Budweiser Tag venue will be at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa, who have very kindly offered to help us out during the renovation of pitches, on Tramore Road in Cork City. The venue lies literally a couple of hundred metres away from Musgrave Park.

Times/Fixtures will be posted up on www.irfutag.ie on Monday morning 2nd June.
As said in email, we would like to make it up to all team by offering your team a FREE place in one of our Beach Tag festivals which are being held at Inchydoney Beach, Co. Cork and at Muiríoch Beach, Balldavid, Dingle. For details of these venues/events, please see here: https://www.irishrugby.ie/11372_11369.php . If you would like to take us up on our offer, please send an email with the words ‘BEACH TAG MUSGRAVE TEAMS’ in the subject box and state your team’s name and league/grade. Bear in mind that the team must already be registered to avail of this offer.
