European Wheelchair Rugby Qualifiers
The Irish Wheelchair Rugby team are hosting the European Qualifiers from this coming Friday to Sunday in Dublin at the Irish Wheelchair Association Sport Centre in Clontarf.
The round robin qualifiers will see Ireland, France and Czech Republic play off with the top two teams qualifying for the European Championships in Denmark later in the year.
The opening ceremony takes place in the IWA Sports Centre in Clontarf at 5pm this Friday with the first match between Ireland and the Czech Republic kicking off at 6pm.
Craig McMillan of the IWA said: “This is a huge weekend for us as the schedule for the rest of the season rests on us qualifying. If you want to see the most competitive wheelchair sport in the world, then come down and support us.”

France v Ireland, Saturday, February 21, 2.30pm

Ireland v France, Sunday, February 22, 1.45pm
All matches will be played at the IWA Sports Centre in Clontarf.
