The Irish Schools begin their season’s preparations with the traditional trial match which takes place this Saturday in Blackrock College at 2.00pm.
The Probables V Possibles game will contain four survivors from the Schools squad that toured Australia during the summer – in the shape of Daren Cave, Darren O’Reilly, Barry O’Mahony and David Pollock.
Following the game, two teams will be selected to take on the Irish Under 19’s and Irish Youth teams on Demcember 29th. The schools will then play England, Wales and France during March and April.
