Tonight’s edition of “Against The Head” on RTI TWO (7.30pm) will include highlights of five games from the weekend’s AIB All-Ireland League programme.
Presenter Con Murphy will be joined in the studio by Irish Times Rugby Correspondent Gerry Thornley and respected RTI pundit Brent Pope.
As it as a rest week in the RBS 6 Nations, the programme will mostly feature action from the AIB League, but the panel will also look ahead to Ireland’s crucial clash with defending 6 Nations champions Wales at Lansdowne Road next Sunday.
As well as a feature interview with former Ulster and Ireland flanker Andy Ward, who is in his first season as player-coach with Belfast Harlequins, the AIB League games to be shown are:
DIVISION ONE: UL Bohemians v Dublin University, Lansdowne v Shannon, Buccaneers v Belfast Harlequins
DIVISION TWO: Barnhall v Thomond
DIVISION THREE: Old Wesley v Nenagh Ormond
