In Pics: Ireland Training In Limerick
The extended Ireland squad, including players that saw duty during the Six Nations, the summer tour to Argentina and the Churchill Cup tournament, took part today in their second day of training at the University of Limerick. See below for a photo gallery link.
The session was blessed with brilliant sunshine and watched by a large number of supporters who were on site as part of the O2 Ireland Team Open Day.
Nearing full fitness after his recent minor knee injury, out-half Ronan O’Gara took part in training while his Munster colleague Jerry Flannery, who recently underwent clear-out surgery on his knee, was also involved.
The squad will move from their current Limerick base to Dublin on Sunday night, with the team for Saturday week’s World Cup warm-up match against Scotland to be named next Tuesday afternoon.
