Ulster Stars Scrum Down For Camps
Ulster captain Rory Best and his provincial colleagues Neil Best and Paul Marshall delighted the kids with their presences at the IRFU/Ulster Bank Summer Scrummage camps at Banbridge and Methody earlier this week.
Ulster and Ireland hooker Rory Best called into the camp at Banbridge RFC where his rugby career began and his visit was welcomed by a large group of very happy kids.
A total of 120 kids attended the Methody camp this week and they were thrilled when Ulster and Ireland flanker Neil Best and Ulster and former Ireland Under-21 scrum half Paul Marshall dropped by.
Marshall is no stranger to Pirrie Park being a former Methody pupil himself. Both he and Neil made a lasting impression on the kids, explaining the different stages of the professional player career path and passing on some of their expertise during the session.
Making the most of the visit, the kids put their questions to both players and jumped at the change to get some autographs. Neil and Paul then proceeded to take part in some of the activies run by the coaches.
