Energia Women’s All-Ireland League: Scoring Charts
The Energia Women’s All-Ireland League has reached the half-way point in its regular season and it’s been an entertaining campaign so far with 1309 points scored across 27 games. That translates into an average of almost eight tries per game, and some players are tearing up the scoring charts.
Hannah O’Connor of Blackrock College currently leads the league as the overall scorer with a combination of tries and points off the boot. The number 8 also made her senior international debut in 2019.
UL Bohemian out-half Nicole Fitzgerald has the highest conversion rate, while Nicole Fowley of Galwegians has the highest strike rate for penalties.
Chloe Pearse of UL Bohs is currently the league’s top try scorer. Playing in the front row this year, she opened her account with five tries in Round 1 and has scored a try per game in each of the last four rounds.
