Eddie O’Sullivan’s squad train again at their Limerick base tomorrow before having two rest days over the weekend. They will reassemble in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday with the team announcement for Saturday week’s World Cup warm-up match against Scotland to be made on Tuesday.
Munster duo Ronan O’Gara and Denis Leamy sat out today’s training due to minor knocks, but the pair kept themselves busy on the sideline with a hurley and sliotar.
Commenting on this week’s camp in Limerick, O’Sullivan said: “This is our first week in camp and we have been trying to get the balance right between work and rest. We do not want to do too much too soon and there is the question of gradually building into contact. We have 48 boys in camp and managing them on the pitch has been a challenge. We have a lot of work done and I am very happy at where we are.”
