Cian Healy – One Hundred Caps
His twitter bio lists him as ‘a prop with a dream to play centre’ and as we celebrate Cian Healy’s 100th cap it’s clear he was one of the first of a new breed of front rows who could fire a pass out the back as easily as he could pressure the opposition tight-head.
The Belvedere College and Clontarf prop made his international debut against Australia in the Guinness Series 2009. Since then he has won plenty of silverware in the green of Ireland and Leinster blue, overcome a career threatening injury and carved out a new hobby as a knife maker. We take a look back at his rugby journey so far in this gallery.
