Leinster and Munster emerged as the respective Under-16 and Under-18 champions at the first ever Underage IRFU Female Sevens Interprovincial Series in Dublin.
Saturday was finals day at the the IRFU High Performance Centre where the Leinster U-16s beat Connacht 17-5 in their final, while the U-18 decider was won by Munster who overcame Leinster 34-5.
192 players took part in the Interpro Series which was used to develop core rugby skills of identified female pathway players and to identify players for national programmes such as the Rugby Europe Under-18 Sevens Championship which takes place in Prague in July.
