Ireland Women Make Sevens Series History In Sydney

Tries from Eve Higgins and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe (two) guided the Ireland Women past Spain on a 22-7 scoreline and into a HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series semi-final for the first time ever.

They face tournament hosts Australia in the last-four at Sydney’s Spotless Stadium in a few hours’ time (kick-off 10.56pm Irish time/9.56am local time). There is live streaming via the World Rugby website. Click here to read a report on the day 2 action.
