Health & Wellbeing
Most people involved in rugby play for health and social reasons and those who express a desire to start playing rugby wish to do so to make friends and improve their health. Below are some resources that may assist clubs with this.
Rugby clubs are encouraged to become the hub of the local community where people can engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
In the mental health section you will find a club toolkit, a list of contacts, zip files of some social media graphics (like the one above) and club posters as well as information on the One Good Coach programme with Jigsaw.
In the physical health section you’ll find advice on the affects of alcohol, smoking and supplements as well as information on the benfits of walking and walking groups in your club.
