A member and Past President of City of Derry RFC, Diane has also played for Ulster, the Irish Exiles, Wasps FC and earned four blues playing for Oxford University. Diane won ten Ireland caps between 1994 and 1998, and also played for the Nomads.
She was appointed to the Ulster Branch in March 2023 and to the Ulster Disciplinary Committee in September 2023.
A qualified Barrister, she is Director of Education at Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen’s University Belfast.
Diane previously chaired the North West Sporting Partnership (IRFU, Derry and Strabane District Council and Donegal Council and Ulster Rugby) – promoting girls’ rugby pathways (2018 -2020)
Diane was appointed to the IRFU Committee in 2023.
