Munster Representative

Rosie was capped 39 times for Ireland between 2001 and 2006 and has played at two Rugby World Cups. She was Captain of Munster & UL women’s rugby squad, winning interprovincial titles and & All Ireland titles with both and is a proud member of Shannon RFC, where she won an AIL title.

Rugby was not the only sport Rosie excelled in as she has All Ireland medals in Gaelic football and in athletics for shot putt and javelin. She was also a proficient swimmer and has an International Triple Crown Open Water – English, Catalina Channels & New York 20 Bridges to her name.

Rosie is a PE & Geography teacher and coaches both boys and girls at St Anne’s CC in Killaloe. She is married to Pat and has 3 children, Oisin, Brendy & Siofra. Oisin has been capped for Ireland schools at 15s and 7s and most recently the Ireland U19’s. In the past Rosie has also done broadcast work with RTE, Sky Sports and ITV.

Rosie was elected to the Union Committee in season 2024/25.
