Defence Coach

Simon won his first Ireland cap against Scotland in the Six Nations 2000. He went on to play 65 times for Ireland and captained the team in 2005.

He was called up to the British & Ireland Lions as a replacement in and won two caps on the 2005 tour.

A noted backrow, Easterby played with Llanelli Scarlets and became part of the coaching setup on his retirement. He served as head coach from 2012 until joining the Ireland set up in 2014.
