The rain did not dampen spirits at the Aviva Stadium this morning as the Ireland team went through the Captain’s Run. We spoke to Rhys Ruddock after the session about the honour of leading the team, the balance between performance and getting a win, and the importance of the game for all the players. He said:
“We’d be lying if we said it’s not about the win. It’s a big game for everyone for all sorts of reasons. We’ve had six weeks of preparation and it will be great to get out on the pitch tomorrow.”
