Ciarán Frawley was on media duty at the Aviva Stadium as the Ireland squad welcomed 5,000 fans to an open training session on Thursday.
The versatile back, who scored a try on his first international start against Wales last weekend, spoke about his experience in the Guinness Men’s Six Nations so far.
“I think as soon as I started playing, I dreamed of scoring a try for Ireland,” he said, speaking about scoring Ireland’s third try during the 31-7 bonus point win over Wales.
“It was class. I knew my family and friends were down that end (of the stadium) as well, they’d be buzzing. But I obviously couldn’t see them in the crowd, everyone was up on their feet, but it was obviously a very special moment.”
