Ireland Women’s 15s Update With David Nucifora

IRFU Performance Director David Nucifora gave a wide ranging briefing this week covering the Rugby World Cup review, the Sevens programme and player development. Today we hear from him about plans in train for the Ireland Women’s team.

Despite a disappointing late loss to Wales last month, there was much to be positive about in the November window. Extended training camps with Scotland and France allowed coaches and players to spend more time together.

There will be a more in depth update with Anthony Eddy, Director of Women’s & 7s Rugby, early in the new year once final details are confirmed.
