Ireland captain Ciara Griffin spoke to us about the launch of the Women’s Six Nations and the build-up to the first game against England at Energia Park.
Ireland kick off their Women’s Six Nations campaign against England in Donnybrook on Friday, February 1 (kick-off 5pm). Griffin feels that the build-up to the game and the tournament has been really good, saying: “We’ve had a good few camps and last Sunday we had a challenge game against Wales, which went very well. It’s been great to see some of the young girls coming through and putting their hands up for selection.”
